Case study: Assisting a U.S.-Headquartered Global Investment Bank review 7,471 obligations across 51 legislative sources, using two LLMs, and one custom-built agentic workflow. We saved our client £1 million on this major regulatory mapping exercise, informing their Day One compliance.
Case study: In an investigation for a global technology company, we implemented a workflow that reduced a 3.5-million-document collection to a focused review set of just 8,799 documents. By crafting targeted search terms and using example documents from prior reviews to optimize an AI algorithm, we enabled a review of less than 0.0025% of the total documents. This approach rapidly surfaced key information for executive decision-making, saved hundreds of thousands in review costs, and shortened the investigation timeline by months.

AI-Assisted document review and fact-finding
Read moreAI-Assisted document review and fact-finding
Our AI-enabled review capabilities combine continuous active learning (CAL), machine learning tools and GenAI to accelerate review timelines and improve accuracy. Through a mix of platforms, including RelativityOne, Reveal ASK, DISCO, Everchron, and Canopy, we provide natural language querying across large document sets to understand events, people and entities.
This capability is particularly powerful for investigations, disputes and regulatory responses, enabling legal teams to ask questions about people, events, timelines and context, with responses drawn directly from the documents in the database.
Our GenAI toolkit also supports sentiment analysis, smart redaction, PII and PHI identification, document chronology, translations and bulk document comparison.
Case study: For a Fortune 50 client, we partnered with merits counsel to tackle a corpus of more than 30 million custodial and noncustodial documents. Through effective early case assessment, the team narrowed the dataset to 3.7 million documents for review. We then developed and executed a defensible, CAL review to evaluate documents across 11 distinct responsiveness categories, meeting all case requirements at a fraction of the expected cost and time – ultimately saving the client tens of millions of dollars.
Case study: Assisted a Japanese Financial Services Company by deploying multiple GenAI tools to translate 70,000 Japanese documents. We completed this major document review exercise in connection with a competition investigation in 4 weeks. -

Managed Data and eDiscovery Solution
Read moreManaged Data and eDiscovery Solution
Our Managed Data Solution is a self-contained, all-in-one continuous service using our full eDiscovery and digital technology stack. It provides a standardized, centralized, secure operational model that can support all of a client's panel firms, driving cost savings and efficiencies across the whole portfolio of legal matters.
Key benefits include reduced external data touchpoints for enhanced security, a single point of contact for all legal data management needs, access to a suite of market-leading technology, and a central repository to serve as a single source of truth, significantly reducing duplication, hosting fees and ensuring consistency across matters.
Case study: For the better part of a decade, we have served as coordinating discovery counsel for our client’s response to a sprawling network of putative class actions, securities and derivatives lawsuits, regulatory investigations, and commercial litigation arising from shared set of facts.
This work has involved end-to-end eDiscovery support, ranging from custodial interviews, collection, processing, review, and production for a document corpus of over 64 million records from over 500 custodians. The team has produced about 4.1 million documents delivered across more than 500 document productions, working closely with the client and its trial counsel in each underlying matter to meet exacting deadlines.
The team designed a matrixed database model and review workflow to reduce data hosting costs and minimize unique documents reviewed.
As a part of this work, we were one of the first law firms in the world to use a limited-release generative AI tool to map more than two dozen requests for production to approximately 400,000 previously produced documents. We partnered closely with the software company’s data science team to design the workflow and validate the results, which enabled us to reduce the projected review costs by about 80% and complete the work in 3 weeks with a small, cross-functional team, rather than deploying roughly 50 lawyers full-time for at least 6 weeks.
Case study: Our client faced multiple regulatory notices and disputes requiring round-the-clock support to scope, collect, process, review, and produce significantly large volumes of data across concurrent workstreams.
We assembled a multidisciplinary team of legal, regulatory, and technology professionals, to deliver a scalable Managed eDiscovery solution. Working closely with the client's information security team, we developed streamlined, auditable collection workflows and leveraged AI-based review capabilities, including Continuous Active Learning, to run parallel review streams. This enabled us to keep pace with the demands of the notices while managing complex privilege, confidentiality, redaction, and production protocol requirements.
Our team managed data from over 170 custodians, encompassing more than 20 million documents. We delivered 80 sets of productions totaling over 30,000 documents, all within the required regulatory timeframes and in full compliance with production protocols. Through a bespoke database setup, we also reduced the client's costs associated with collection, processing, and hosting, while organizing documents to support responses to both the regulatory notices and a related class action.
