Whether you are navigating a complex transaction, managing a regulatory project, or simply need to bolster your team during periods of sustained demand, Reach can provide the calibre of lawyer you would expect from a high-calibre, global law firm.
What sets us apart is not simply the breadth of our offering, but the way we deliver it: every placement is structured around your needs, your timelines and your definition of success.
Reach consultant panel
Our panel spans the full spectrum of commercial law disciplines, from transactional to contentious, and beyond. We draw on a deep and diverse panel of consultants who have top-tier private practice and in-house experience.
Every Reach Consultant undertakes comprehensive reference checks, employment screening, and verification of qualifications. We also assess work-style, because when a consultant joins a team, even on an interim basis, they need to integrate quickly and add value from day one. The result is a panel of legal professionals we are genuinely proud to put forward, each one having a validated track record, and ready to perform.

We recognize the resourcing needs of legal teams do not fit neatly into a single model. This is why our consultants work across a variety of arrangements designed to suit the way you operate: short sprints or longer engagements; full-time, part-time, ad hoc or somewhere in between; on-premises or remote. You decide what works best for each interim role.

Case study
Client challenge
Our client is one of Australia's leading wealth managers. Their key strategic initiatives have included the 2020 acquisition of a large superannuation fund from one Australian 'Big Four' bank and the earlier acquisition of the wealth management arm of another.
To fully realize the benefits from these acquisitions, our client needed to effectively integrate these businesses with its existing wealth management operations while delivering on other strategic initiatives and business as usual (BAU) requirements.
Our solution
We worked with our client to understand and fulfill their needs for this integration project. We have continued to work with them as their needs changed.
Our legal consultant team included:
- A consultant with technical skills to support a workstream integrating IT/software licensing agreements. This 12-month, full-time contract was extended for another year.
- A second consultant supporting this workstream on a part-time, 12-month contract.
- A third legal consultant on a part-time, 18-month contract supporting the commercial integration workstream.
Client benefits
- Flexible resourcing enabled our client’s in-house team to provide high-quality project support without impacting BAU.Continuity of consultants, a priority for our client.

The Reach shortlisting process is consultative, considered, and tailored to the particulars of each secondment.
We start by understanding the full picture: the nature of the work; the complexity and duration of the engagement; the dynamics of your team; and any specific technical or sector expertise required. From there, we draw on our deep knowledge of our panel to identify consultants whose skills, experience, and working-style align with your requirements.
