When the stakes are high and reputations are at risk, clients need advocates who listen, understand the issues, and deliver strong results.
Our lawyers handle complex appeals and high-stakes litigation around the world. We represent clients in the Supreme Court of the United States, federal appellate courts, state appellate courts, trial courts, and arbitration proceedings. We work with clients and local counsel to develop cohesive strategies across jurisdictions, especially when disputes proceed simultaneously in multiple courts or forums.
Our work covers every phase of appellate advocacy, including merits briefs, oral argument, petitions for discretionary review, emergency applications, and amicus briefs. We have won bet-the-company cases in federal state courts across the United States, and we have helped clients manage multifaceted disputes involving parallel proceedings in several appellate courts at once. In trial courts, we help shape case strategy, preserve issues for appeal, and draft key motions. We also represent clients in administrative law matters before federal and state agencies, as well as in challenges to agency action.
Our team includes former Assistants to the Solicitor General at the U.S. Department of Justice, former Supreme Court clerks, and many former clerks from U.S. appellate courts. Our lawyers bring experience from all levels of government, including federal and state agencies and state attorneys general offices. We know firsthand what strategies and arguments are most likely to advance our clients’ interests in any forum where they appear.
We are committed to producing work of the highest quality. Our clients are sophisticated and innovative, and we reflect those standards in everything we write, file, and argue.
