Hilary Goodier is Chair of the award-winning NewLaw and Consulting Division and sits on the Global Leadership Team of Ashurst Perkins Coie.
Hilary is Executive Sponsor and leader of Ashurst Perkins Coie's digital and AI transformation. She manages a global team delivering a legal-led consulting model that bridges traditional legal services with dynamic risk consulting and the full suite of NewLaw services and solutions including advanced legal delivery, managed services, flexible resourcing, legal operations and digital.
With deep experience spanning law, technology and operations, Hilary takes a solutions-oriented approach to reimagining the delivery of legal and consulting services.
As a former GC and General Manager, Hilary is known for delivering commercially sound solutions that unlock potential and drive value for the firm's clients. She is strongly execution focused and is trusted by clients to lead and deliver complex change programs.
Hilary was a recipient of the highly coveted Chief Executive Women’s Harvard Business School Disruptive Innovation Scholarship and was named “Innovator of the Year” at the Lawyer’s Weekly Partner of the Year Awards. Most recently, she was named a global 'AI Visionary' by Relativity – reflecting her reputation as an innovator and pioneer in the future of AI in legal.
Hilary is an Advisory Board Member of the Centre for Legal Innovation and is frequently sought after for her views on the changing legal market and the impact of technology on the business model and delivery of legal services.
- Australian Multinational Bank and Financial Services Company | Breach reporting triage managed service to assist the bank in meeting its obligations under ASIC's new breach reporting regime.
- Various Private and Public Sector Clients | Design and delivery of a number of large managed services programs for both public and private sector clients including claims management and remediation, commercial contracting, stream leasing, regulatory compliance and repapering and data managed services.
- Banking Royal Commission | Led the team who delivered 24/7 eDiscovery and document review support for a leading financial services organization during the Banking Royal Commission.
