With more than 50 lawyers, our Portland office is one of the city’s largest law firms. We represent leading regional, national, and international companies across a broad range of sectors, including corporate finance, M&A, emerging companies, securities, litigation, product liability, real estate, land use, IP, energy, environment and natural resources, bankruptcy, and restructuring in collaboration with our offices and clients across the United States and abroad.

As part of the firmwide commitment to community service, the Portland office integrates pro bono representation into the core of its practices, addressing housing and homelessness issues, immigration matters, community development, and civil legal aid for low-income residents. Our lawyers partner with Legal Aid Services of Oregon, SOAR Immigration Legal Services, Albina Vision Trust, housing service providers, and others to deliver services through the firm's national pro bono program.

Beyond legal work, the office supports the community through service days; lawyers’ service on nonprofit boards and committees; and a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and opportunity. The office has been recognized as a "Defender of Justice" by the Campaign for Equal Justice and one of Oregon's "Most Admired Companies" by the Portland Business Journal, and we have received "multiple Pro Bono Service awards" from the Oregon State Bar, along with numerous individual awards and honors.
