Perkins Coie ECVC Team Advises Kuru Labs in $11.6M Series A Financing
NEW YORK (September 2, 2025) - Perkins Coie is pleased to have represented Kuru Labs Pte. Ltd. in its successful $11.6 million Series A financing with Paradigm as the lead investor. Additional information about the transaction is available here.
The fundraise will help Kuru scale its team and develop the necessary technology to launch and operate a decentralized exchange on the Ethereum-compatible Monad Layer 1 blockchain protocol. The Kuru decentralized exchange will combine elements of the automated market maker (AMM) functions seen in decentralized finance ecosystems with the central limit order book (CLOB) architecture more commonly used by centralized cryptocurrency exchanges.
The Perkins Coie Emerging Companies & Venture Capital (ECVC) advisory team included partners Eitan Hoenig and Michelle Edwards and associate Kaina Pengilly. The team previously represented Monad Labs in its $225 million Series A financing last year.
