Introduction

Sebastian is recognized for his work across private equity, M&A and infrastructure, advising clients on significant transactions within these areas.

Dr Sebastian Daub has extensive experience in advising national and international clients on all aspects of private equity and M&A transactions, joint ventures and corporate law matters. He has a particular focus on infrastructure and has advised on prominent transactions within this sector.

Sebastian studied law at the University of Konstanz, where he later obtained his doctorate. He also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta and speaks German, English and French.

Prior to joining Ashurst Perkins Coie in 2025, Sebastian was a partner in the Frankfurt office of Linklaters.

  • PGGM Infrastructure on the acquisition of a stake in Alpha Trains from the Canadian pension fund Public Sector Pension Investments (PSP Investments). *
  • A global airport operator on the renegotiations of terminal operating agreements. *
  • KKR Credit Advisors EMEA on the sale of Tekfor Group, a German automotive supplier to American Axle & Manufacturing. *
