Introduction
Sebastian is recognized for his work across private equity, M&A and infrastructure, advising clients on significant transactions within these areas.
Dr Sebastian Daub has extensive experience in advising national and international clients on all aspects of private equity and M&A transactions, joint ventures and corporate law matters. He has a particular focus on infrastructure and has advised on prominent transactions within this sector.
Sebastian studied law at the University of Konstanz, where he later obtained his doctorate. He also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta and speaks German, English and French.
Prior to joining Ashurst Perkins Coie in 2025, Sebastian was a partner in the Frankfurt office of Linklaters.

- A financial investor | Lead Partner | 2025 on the envisaged acquisition of a pan-European conventional power plant portfolio and energy trading business.
- A global engineering services and consulting group | Lead Partner | 2025 on the envisaged acquisition of an EPC business specialized in construction of tunnels.
- Leading Global Asset Management Company on the establishment of an investment in a joint venture, for the development of a data center platform in the Frankfurt Rhine Main region. *
- Société Générale on the sale of its truck and trailer rental business to a portfolio company of I Squared Capital. *
- Vodafone on a joint venture with Altice Group for the roll-out of optical fiber in urban areas in Germany. *
- A financial investor on the envisaged acquisition of a mobile tower business in Germany. *
- PGGM Infrastructure on the acquisition of a stake in Alpha Trains from the Canadian pension fund Public Sector Pension Investments (PSP Investments). *
- A global airport operator on the renegotiations of terminal operating agreements. *
- KKR Credit Advisors EMEA on the sale of Tekfor Group, a German automotive supplier to American Axle & Manufacturing. *
