PALO ALTO (August 18, 2025) - Perkins Coie is pleased to have advised Daring Foods, the leading unbreaded plant-based chicken brand in the U.S., in its acquisition by v2food, Australia's foremost plant-based meat company. The acquisition includes a strategic partnership with Japan-based ingredients company Ajinomoto Co.
Daring has quickly emerged as one of the foremost and fastest-growing brands operating in the alternative protein space. The acquisition will accelerate innovation in sustainable, health-forward protein solutions in North America and provide a new platform for plant-based food solutions to serve rising demand for sustainable protein alternatives.
