Ashurst Perkins Coie advises Camsense Technologies on its successful Hong Kong IPO

Global law firm Ashurst Perkins Coie advised Shenzhen Camsense Technologies Co., Ltd. as international sanctions counsel on its successful H-share listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (SEHK: 6802).

Camsense Technologies is a leading provider of spatial perception solutions for intelligent robots. According to CIC, an industry consulting firm, it ranked first globally in spatial sensing solution for robotic vacuums by revenue in 2024. The company combines proprietary AI algorithms with in-house ASIC chips across a range of triangulation LiDAR, dTOF LiDAR, 3D TOF LiDAR and line laser sensors. It served as a core supplier for four out of five of the largest robotic vacuum companies, with cumulative shipments exceeding 39 million units since its incorporation in late 2013.

Ashurst Perkins Coie provided regulatory advice on the potential impact of international sanctions, export controls, and the U.S. Outbound Investment Rule on the company’s business in light of evolving geopolitical risks.

The transaction highlights the firm's capability in delivering complex, multi-jurisdictional regulatory advice on Hong Kong capital markets transactions.

The Ashurst Perkins Coie team was led by partner Alexander Dmitrenko, with support from Vicki Tang and Songshen Shen.
