With a business-oriented mindset, Richard advises clients on complex and significant business transactions and legal challenges.

Richard D. Dusenbury represents private equity funds, strategic acquirers, and non-traditional sponsors in their M&A transactions across a variety of industries, including software and technology, financial services, energy, professional services, manufacturing, and merchandise. He has experience with a wide range of transaction types and structures, including customary buyouts, structured equity and debt investments, and other minority equity infusions. Richard seeks to design each transaction with long-term business objectives in mind while using a programmatic approach to achieving each client’s end goals. 

In addition to his M&A practice, Richard handles a range of other corporate-related legal matters, including growth investments, corporate governance, private placements of securities, federal and state securities law compliance, entity formation, and general commercial transactions.
