Introduction
Phillip brings a distinctive combination of experience across both Australian and English courts.
Phillip Aquilina has acted for and advised major financial institutions and corporations in both domestic and multi-jurisdictional contentious matters. His experience encompasses large scale litigation in both Australian and English courts, as well as a number of complex contentious regulatory investigations. Phillip has extensive experience in the use of alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration.
Prior to joining Ashurst Perkins Coie, Phillip spent a number of years in London as a senior associate in a Magic Circle law firm and as an associate in another top tier firm in Sydney. During his time in London, he undertook a secondment to the contentious regulatory team of a large UK retail bank.
