Justin Potesta has extensive experience helping companies navigate rapidly shifting state and federal standards governing privacy, communications, and AI. His deep knowledge spans the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), the Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier law (CUBI), the California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA), the Texas Responsible AI Governance Act, the Colorado AI Act, and the California AI Transparency Act. He provides counsel to clients developing and deploying AI for identity verification, security, content generation and moderation, data analysis, and other uses.

Additionally, Justin advises on consumer risk scoring and credit reporting issues under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). He also defends clients in class-action litigation and state and federal investigations involving a range of privacy issues.
