Jeffrey Johnson

Jeffrey has significant expertise advising both issuers and investment banks on a wide variety of international corporate finance transactions, with a particular focus on US securities law aspects. His experience spans across the full range of equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs, rights issues, open offers and other secondary placings, private placements, demergers, spin-offs and affiliate block trades, across a broad spectrum of sectors including real estate, investment funds, retail & leisure, oil & gas, mining, financial services, technology, digital economy and others. Jeffrey also has experience advising on bond offerings, US private placement note offerings and other debt issuances, and additionally advises on the US securities law aspects of cross-border public M&A transactions, including tender offers.

Jeffrey has been based in the London market since 2006, having started his career with a leading New York law firm in Hong Kong. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School.

Jeffrey is a Registered Foreign Lawyer (England & Wales) and is qualified in the USA (New York).
