Jeffrey Johnson is a partner in our US securities practice

Jeffrey has extensive experience advising issuers, investment banks and selling shareholders on a wide variety of international capital markets transactions, with a particular focus on US securities law aspects. His experience spans across the full range of equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs, rights issues, open offers, ABBs, demergers, spin-offs and affiliate block trades. Jeffrey also has experience advising on bond offerings, USPP note offerings and other debt issuances, and additionally advises on the US securities law aspects of cross-border tender offers and other public M&A transactions. Deals on which Jeffrey has advised encompass a broad spectrum of sectors including real estate, investment funds, retail & leisure, oil & gas, mining, renewable energy, financial services, technology, digital economy, healthcare and others, involving issuers based in the UK, US, Australia, Canada, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Italy, Norway, the Baltics, Montenegro, the UAE, Hong Kong, India, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore and elsewhere.


Jeffrey has been based in the London market since 2006, having started his career with a leading New York law firm in Hong Kong. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School.
