    Ashurst Perkins Coie advises COMMERZBANK and Deutsche Bank on DEUTZ AG’s successful approximately €179 million capital increase

    Ashurst Perkins Coie has advised COMMERZBANK Aktiengesellschaft (COMMERZBANK) and Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft (Deutsche Bank) on the successful capital increase of DEUTZ AG, raising gross proceeds of approximately €179 million. The capital increase was carried out by way of a private placement through an accelerated bookbuilding process (ABB). DEUTZ AG intends to use the proceeds to optimise its capital structure and enhance its financial flexibility to pursue future growth opportunities.

    COMMERZBANK and Deutsche Bank acted as Joint Global Coordinators on the transaction.

    The Ashurst Perkins Coie team was led by partner Matthias von Oppen, supported by associate Dennis Stottmann (both Corporate Transactions, Frankfurt) and partner Jeffrey Johnson (US Securities, London). The Ashurst Perkins Coie team also advised the syndicate banks on DEUTZ AG’s two previous capital increases in September 2025 and July 2024.
