Jacqueline delivers practical, commercially focused advice on complex restructuring and insolvency matters.
Jacqueline Chan practices in the restructuring and special situations group of the finance team in the Ashurst Perkins Coie Melbourne office. She has had experience in both front-end restructuring and formal insolvency procedures. Her experience has included acting for liquidators, administrators, receivers and affected creditors. Jacqueline has also been involved in insolvency planning for creditors of distressed companies and Chinese clients. Jacqueline is bilingual and is fluent in English and Cantonese, as well as conversational Mandarin.
More recently, Jacqueline has acted in relation to the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry.
In 2019, Jacqueline was the winner of the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 award for the Insolvency category.
