Ashurst Perkins Coie has advised HIH Invest on the legal and tax aspects of the sale of an almost fully let office building in Dresden’s Waldschlösschenviertel district to SK-Gruppe.

The transaction was structured as an asset deal. The property comprises the office building located at Am Waldschlösschen 2 and 4 and Am Brauhaus 5 in Dresden’s Radeberger Vorstadt district. HIH Invest acquired the property for a fund in 2020.

The five-storey building was constructed in 1996 and surrounds three landscaped inner courtyards. It offers around 12,769 square metres of lettable space and is almost fully let. In addition, tenants have access to 252 underground parking spaces. The property is located in Radeberger Vorstadt, close to Dresden’s Neustadt district, and benefits from its proximity to the city centre as well as good transport links via the B 6 federal road.

The Ashurst Perkins Coie team was led by partner Dr Liane Muschter (Real Estate). The team also included Christopher Jeschor (Counsel, Real Estate), Calvin Bischoff-Asibey (Associate, Real Estate), Ibrahim Ünal (Transaction Lawyer, Real Estate), Miriam Staatz (Counsel, Tax) and Robin Meier (Associate, Tax).
