Bill oversees the technical operations of the firm’s NewLaw practice.

William J. Weissmeier manages the NewLaw  Trial Services teams He consults with laywers, clients, and business professionals on best practices for using technology case management, e-discovery projects, and trial proceedings. His experience includes consulting on matters involving patent, antitrust, energy and environmental law, voting rights, political law, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act  litigation. He has trial experience setting up off-site war rooms, consulting on presentation technology, operating mock trial technology, and consulting on best practices for remote depositions, trials, and arbitrations. 

Bill brings more than 20 years of experience in case management, e-discovery, and trial support. Before becoming technical and trial services manager, he was an analyst, trial services specialist, practice support manager, technical manager, and assistant director of client services. He assists legal teams and clients in designing and implementing technology solutions for discovery and trial management. Bill provides project planning and coordination throughout the identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, production, and presentation phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model.
