Whitney Lutgen

Whitney Lutgen has extensive experience advising fund sponsors in relation to the structuring, establishment and operation of private investment funds across all major alternative investment strategies and advising institutional investors in relation to their investments in private investment funds globally. She also advises on a broad range of related transactions including carried interest schemes, co-investment arrangements, secondary transactions, fund restructurings and management team spin-outs.

In 2021 Whitney was named to Private Equity International's '40 Under 40: Future Leaders in Private Equity' list.

Previously, Whitney was a partner in the private funds group at MJ Hudson. She also worked in the private funds group at Kirkland & Ellis in New York and London. Whitney started her career as in-house counsel at Partners Group in their New York office and spent time working in their head office in Switzerland.
