Valdemar Washington II advises emerging companies and their founders through every stage of the business lifecycle, from initial formation and governance structuring to venture financing and strategic growth. His practice encompasses company formations, founder arrangements, debt and equity financings, joint ventures, corporate governance, and general corporate counseling. He has particular depth in corporate governance and venture capital transactions, regularly serving as outside counsel to high-growth companies navigating complex capitalization and governance issues.
Prior to joining Ashurst Perkins Coie, Val practiced at a boutique corporate law firm, where he provided transactional and advisory support to emerging companies and their stakeholders.
