Introduction

Tim draws on his extensive experience to advise and guide clients through complex European and UK financial regulation.

Tim Cant provides financial services advice to global banks, proprietary dealers, brokers, market infrastructure (venues, exchanges, clearing and settlement systems) investment managers in relation to both traditional and digital asset classes, as well as advising on investigations by European and UK regulators.

He has previously worked in the FSA's (as it then was) Markets and Infrastructure Department and was seconded to HM Treasury to assist with, amongst other matters, the transposition of MiFID II.

Tim is also a member of the FCA Markets Practitioner Panel.
