Introduction
Thomas is an experienced litigation lawyer who has acted on some of Australia's largest and most high-profile disputes, regulatory investigations and public inquiries.
Thomas Storer has acted in major disputes and regulatory investigations in the financial services, IT, telecommunications, professional services, and property sectors. He regularly acts in cases in the Federal Court of Australia, Supreme Court of New South Wales and other State supreme courts, and administrative tribunals. He has also acted in regulatory investigations by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, Australian Taxation Office and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as well as major public inquiries.
Thomas has particular focus on contentious matters involving financial services or privacy law issues.
Thomas has significant inhouse experience, having spent nearly 12 months on secondment at Deutsche Bank in London and 18 months on secondment at CBA in Sydney. Thomas also previously worked at a magic circle law firm in London, and as a researcher to the Honourable Justice Patricia Bergin in the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
