Spencer represents emerging companies, investors, and businesses in venture financings, M&A, and strategic transactions.

Spencer Post focuses on venture financings, M&A, public company transactions, corporate governance, and a broad range of strategic business matters. He represents founders, startups, growth-stage companies, investors, and other businesses at all stages of the business life cycle, from company formation and early-stage financings to acquisitions, exits, and ongoing corporate counseling. 

Spencer’s experience includes advising clients across a range of industries, including AI and machine learning, software as a service (SaaS), financial services, aerospace and defense, retail, manufacturing, and real estate. He also has experience with public company matters, including securities law compliance, SEC reporting, and corporate governance. 

Spencer earned his J.D. from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, where he served as a note and comment editor of the Pepperdine Law Review and as president of OUTLaw. He received his undergraduate degree in American literature & culture from University of California, Los Angeles.
