Sophie Suri advises private capital managers on the full lifecycle of their business. Sophie has deep knowledge across the spectrum of a private capital manager's business, from the tax structuring of investment funds and associated carried interest and co-investment arrangements, to capital deployment, joint ventures and exits. She also advises clients in relation to tax authority disputes, including complex HMRC enquiries, assessments and information requests.


  • Tritax | Counsel | Advising on the creation of a UK data center investment platform, including the purchase of a 70-acre site at Heathrow and acquisition of a 50% share in a joint venture with a leading European renewable and low carbon energy power generator.
  • Altor | Counsel | Advising on the raising of its EUR 1.1 billion Altor ACT I fund, a climate-focused fund focused on technological solutions to decarbonize Europe.
