Introduction
Sid leads the business services transformation - working with and across functions - ensuring they deliver value to our firm and its clients efficiently.
Sid has almost 30 years of experience delivering organizational and technology transformation projects to clients. He has supported building and optimizing their processes and controls functions to enable risk reduction and better business outcomes. As the former global cyber and strategic risk leader at a 'Big Four' professional services firm, he has delivered practical cyber risk advice and innovative solutions to C-Suite clients across various industries and sectors. He now applies that knowledge in a hands-on, operational context, using his management consulting experience across South Africa, the United States and Australia to the benefit of Ashurst Perkins Coie and our clients.
During his professional career, Sid has helped clients manage cyber incidents, including ransomware attacks. He has worked closely with the Australian Commonwealth Government and has delivered on large, complex, multi-year risk transformation programs, including helping clients secure information and data, performing cyber security accreditation and reviews against the Essential 8 baseline-mitigation strategies recommended for organizations, to driving the strategic risk agenda and leading complex IT Project Assurance engagements. He brings both consulting and practical in-house experience to bear for our clients.
Sid's Transformation portfolio includes Enterprise Service Management (providing a single, unified platform for Business Services), Enterprise Project Management (responsible for the execution of strategic projects and initiatives) and Business Transformation (responsible for the design and execution of the transformation) to support the delivery of the firm's strategy. Sid also helps drive efficiency and innovation at Ashurst Perkins Coie, where he works collaboratively with the C-Suite and broader partnership.
