Introduction

Sarah is an experienced real estate finance partner who represents financial institutions, property companies and institutional investors in respect of all real estate asset classes.

Sarah focuses on real estate investment, development and structured finance, advising across a wide range of asset classes. Her practice encompasses both traditional real estate sectors and other emerging sectors where the boundaries between real estate finance and other finance disciplines meet.

Sarah has considerable experience in acting for all types of investors and lenders in relation to their finance requirements throughout the investment lifecycle. She has particular responsibility for the real estate finance group's interface with the firm's financial institution clients.

  • A group of lenders | Advised on the provision of a loan to a special purpose vehicle formed by infrastructure investors in relation to the portfolio financing of senior living communities. Shortlisted for 'Deal of the Year' in the RESI Awards by Property Week.
  • A global real estate developer | Advised in connection with an £809 million facility in relation to the acquisition of a major Lomdon commercial property.
  • A group of lenders | Advised on the provision of an investment and development loan in relation to the entertainment district at the O2 Arena. 
  • An infrastructure investor | Advised on the provision of a development finance facility to redevelop Eastwick and Sweetwater framing the edge of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
  • A lending alliance partner | Advised a lending alliance partner in relation to the formation of a lending alliance platform to support small and medium-sized enterprise housebuilders in constructing energy-efficient home.
  • An investor | Advised an investor in relation to the acquisition and development financing of the historic Hôtel Saint-James & Albany in Paris's 1st arrondissement.
  • Pocket Living Limited | Advised in relation to the provision of three development finance facilities as part of an innovative deal to boost new, factory-built, affordable homes for first-time buyers in London.
