Sadia McEvoy

Sadia is a construction lawyer with nearly twenty years’ contentious and non-contentious experience at Ashurst Perkins Coie. She has recently spent eighteen months on a part-time client secondment for Lendlease, heading their building safety team and dealing with remediation works and recovery claims.  

As well as advising clients, she co-ordinates the different elements that make up the firm’s large construction practice and has responsibility for knowledge development, client training and digital innovation. She works closely with Advance by Ashurst Perkins Coie to ensure ever more efficient and cost-effective delivery of legal services for our clients through our extensive tech offering and project management support. 

She has particular knowledge and experience in JCT and NEC contracts, and in advising in relation to relevant legislation including the Building Safety Act 2022, Modern Slavery Act 2015, CDM Regulations and the Construction Act 1996.

Sadia has extensive industry knowledge and is Vice-Chair of the BPF's Construction Committee.
