Introduction
Over a 29-year term as firm managing partner, Bob led the firm through impressive growth.
Robert Giles served as Ashurst Perkins Coie's managing partner from 1986 to 2014, overseeing the firm's growth to more than 1,100 lawyers across 19 offices. He continues to assist on administrative and special projects.
Bob joined the firm in 1974. Before becoming managing partner, he practiced in the areas of partnerships, tax planning, real estate syndications, and general corporate law.
