He assists with matters related to gifts and estates, guiding clients through the challenges associated with complex estates.
Well-regarded within the wealth management profession, particularly for working productively with his clients' home office and affiliated professionals and advisers, Rich has used nearly every estate planning tool to help achieve his clients' goals. From drafting revocable and irrevocable trusts for U.S. citizens and noncitizens, to advising owners of family and closely held business entities to trust administration, Rich offers an insightful, caring, and comprehensive perspective through every stage of personal planning.
Rich is president of the Stanley S. Langendorf Foundation and has an extensive background in public service with San Francisco's leading civic organizations. He has served on the city and county's Parking Authority, Board of Permit Appeals, Fire Commission, Airport Commission, and Recreation and Park Commission, and he is currently on the board of directors of the State Compensation Insurance Fund.
