Introduction
Rebecca is an experienced advisor on high-value digital infrastructure transactions across national and international markets.
Rebecca Clarke is a Partner in our Digital Economy Transaction Group and advises upon digital infrastructure and digital convergence within complementary industry sectors. She advises operators, vendors, resellers and customers on high value and complex national and international digital infrastructure and converged technology projects as well as providing sector input for digital infrastructure related mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and financings.
- International Airport | on the roll out of a neutral host network to support public and private 5G.
- TowerCo | Following its acquisition of a portfolio of wireless infrastructure assets, on the transitional arrangements to split and transfer those contractual arrangements which applied to the acquired asset portfolio for those that remained with the seller.
- Neutral Host Operator | on its arrangements with a number of mobile network operators for access to its neutral host fixed and mobile network.
- Global Technology Company | On the 2Africa subsea cable system including a number of complex multi-party landing provider agreements between various consortium members and landing providers.
- Various Funds | On investments into fiber providers, mergers and restructurings.
- GLIL and Equitix on the acquisition of minority interests in a mobile tower joint venture, Cornerstone Telecommunications Infrastructure Ltd, from Virgin Media O2.
- Real Estate Fund Manager | On its customer data center strategy including in respect of potential retail, wholesale and hyperscale arrangements.
- Sovereign Wealth Fund | On its proposed investment into an international data center operator.
- Asset Manager | On its financing of a UK based data center including advising on key generating contracts, supplier contracts and regulatory issues.
- An African Operator | On a partner agreement for both national and international connectivity services as part of its bid for the acquisition of a pan-African telecoms operator.
- Subsea cable operator | On the acquisition and lease back of transit and domestic connectivity in the Middle East.
