Raquel Tarancon Plata advises governments, sponsors and lenders on energy and infrastructure projects across the MENA region, with a particular focus on utilities projects (conventional and renewable power, water and wastewater) and oil & gas projects.

- A national oil company | Counsel | Advising in relation to the development and financing of the integrated 'ecosystem' logistics infrastructure (including new port, liquids terminal and a pipeline network) for the TA'ZIZ Industrial Chemicals Zone, a large-scale petrochemicals and derivatives park, on a build-own-operate-transfer basis.
- Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) | Senior Associate | Advised on strategic crude oil storage projects in South Korea and in Japan.
- Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) | Senior Associate | Advised on its joint venture with Pembina Pipeline Corporation for the proposed development of an integrated propane dehydrogenation (PDH) plant and polypropylene (PP) upgrading facility in Canada.
