Introduction
Patchen advises clients on trademark enforcement matters worldwide, including dispute resolution and administrative actions.
Patchen M. Haggerty manages global trademark portfolios and trademark and internet enforcement and takedown programs for market-leading companies worldwide. She manages trademark opposition, cancellation proceedings, and trademark application appeals before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, as well as in Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy proceedings. She also counsels clients on complex legal and business matters related to trademark, trade dress, copyright, domain name, and IP due diligence. Patchen's transactional experience includes assisting clients in the protection, development, commercialization, licensing, assignment, and sale of IP rights and assets.
Patchen's experience extends across numerous industry sectors, including retail and consumer products; software, software as a service, and mobile application providers; video, mobile, casual, social, and console games; augmented and virtual reality; financial services; social media platforms; blockchain technology; digital currency; medical devices; wineries; and pet food and supplies.
Patchen often presents and writes on emerging issues in trademark, copyright, and IP legal protections.
