Nate represents clients in litigation across a variety of industries, including hardware, software, and design.
Nathanil B. Sabri assists clients with their most complex patent, copyright, and trademark issues, ranging from major technology companies to video game developers and publishers.
Nate has achieved notable results, including four jury verdicts exceeding $1 billion in high-profile smartphone cases and multiple successful defenses for a global network security software company facing patent infringement claims. He has also obtained numerous pretrial victories, including a complete summary judgment victory confirming patent ownership for a leading web services provider and multiple successful motions to dismiss based on patent ineligibility for large technology and video game companies.
Nate is the pro bono chair for Ashurst Perkins Coie’s San Francisco office. He maintains an active pro bono practice and has won asylum for a transgender refugee who was forced to flee her native country, obtained parole for a domestic violence victim serving a sentence for a crime against her abuser, and defended a nonprofit human rights organization against allegations of trademark infringement related to the organization’s use of a parody logo.
