Nathan Deveson

Nathan Deveson advises leading companies, especially in the real estate industry, on complex real estate transactions with a focus on transaction structuring and State Taxes issues across the country and also on other sectors, including M&A, financial services, infrastructure and mining and resources. He is recognized in Chambers Global as “one of the best stamp duty lawyers in Australia” and is consistently recognized in Chambers Asia Pacific (Band 3) and Best Lawyers: Australia.

Nathan is particularly experienced in the real estate sector and has worked with clients including Dexus, Mirvac, Stockland, Frasers, Lendlease, Investa and TOGA. Prior to joining our firm, Nathan led the State Taxes practice at MinterEllison, where he held numerous leadership roles, including as Sydney Managing Partner from 2017 to 2021.
