Introduction
Michael advises clients on strategically applying eDiscovery technology to build compelling cases while defensibly and cost-effectively meeting discovery obligations.
Michael T. Swick has worked on a broad range of matters, including complex commercial litigation, insurance coverage disputes, voting rights litigation, patent and trademark infringement, antitrust matters, and government investigations.
Michael manages document review projects and other discovery matters and provides a variety of related services. He has significant experience consulting on protective orders and electronically stored information agreements; identifying key information in preparation for depositions and trial; analyzing and structuring large data sets; preparing expert witnesses; managing external teams of contractors; performing quality control and privilege reviews; and preparing privilege logs. Drawing on his knowledge of the challenges presented by Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and other foreign-language data sets, Michael is skilled at helping clients with non-English data sets successfully manage litigation.
Michael is a certified eDiscovery specialist and has completed the DISCO review management and project management certifications. He is skilled with additional discovery technologies, including Relativity, DISCO, and Everchron.
