Overview
Introduction
Mike advises clients on a broad range of litigation, arbitration, investigation, and compliance matters, drawing on extensive experience as a lawyer and corporate executive.
Michael Paisner's assistance to clients is informed by his time in government and as a senior lawyer and more recently vice president at a leading aerospace company, where he was responsible for supervising its international disputes, aviation product liability, and government contract litigation dockets, as well as other strategic litigation, regulatory, and investigation matters.
Mike has handled numerous major litigations and arbitrations, including commercial disputes and complex business, product liability, securities, and other litigation. He also led the company's response to significant government investigations and served in a senior position on the compliance leadership team.
During his tenure, he developed extensive knowledge of crisis management and incident response, including in connection with parallel litigation, regulatory, civil and criminal enforcement, congressional proceedings, and public relations challenges stemming from high-profile product incidents. In addition, Mike is an experienced appellate lawyer and has argued cases in the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fourth, Seventh, Ninth, and Tenth Circuits.
Prior to his in-house roles, Michael practiced at a leading firm in Washington, D.C., and served as an attorney-adviser for the U.S. DOJ’s Office of Legal Counsel.
