Introduction
Michael represents and guides emerging companies at all stages of the corporate life cycle.
Michael J. Carr represents emerging companies from entity formation, growth transactions, and corporate governance matters to sale, acquisition, or change of ownership. He also serves as outside counsel to these clients, assisting with day-to-day legal and business matters.
Michael advises private equity and venture capital funds on M&As, with experience on both the buy side and sell side. Representing the portfolio companies of private equity clients, he provides guidance on strategic add-on acquisitions and operational execution. Additionally, he has developed significant industry-specific knowledge of mining-related transactions.
Active in his community, Michael serves on the boards of directors of Friends of Zoo Boise and the Downtown Boise Foundation, Inc., which focuses on the city’s economic development and community betterment. He is also on the board of advisors of the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce.
