Introduction

Melissa brings more than nine years of academic and industrial scientific experience to her work.

While working as an industry scientist, Melissa MacEwen drew on her training in protein biochemistry, cell signaling, and assay development to help advance several first-in-human and late-stage monoclonal antibody programs for clients.Her accomplishments reflect her track record of successful project design and management and include four first-author, peer-reviewed publications as well as two funded NIH grants. Melissa excels at presenting complex data to diverse audiences and is deeply committed to scientific outreach. 

As a registered patent agent, Melissa’s work centers on prosecution and litigation support for life science, mechanical device, and medical device clients.
