Her practice includes advising clients on matters involving transfer tax controversies, requests for extension of time for payment, and claims for refund. She also has experience analyzing energy tax matters and BBA partnership audit procedures. Mary Claire has experience in researching and interpreting tax laws to provide clients with accurate, practical advice.Mary Claire was previously a tax law analyst at Bloomberg Industry Group, where she analyzed tax developments related to estates, gifts, trusts, and exempt organizations. She also served as a law clerk, where she advised on property law and drafted legal documents. Additionally, she worked as an extern for the Colorado Office of the Attorney General, researching insurance regulations and analyzing receivership requirements.
