Heading the Global Loans and Global Markets practices spanning three continents, Mark advises on complex debt financing, financial M&A transactions and balance sheet management programs.

Mark Edwards is a partner in London focusing on international debt financing, restructurings, financial asset M&A, debt trading, balance sheet management, risk transfer programs and the deployment of AI and technology on the delivery of large-scale strategic projects for financial institutions.

Mark has over 25 years of experience of acting on large-scale asset sales and migration programs for major global financial institutions and has undertaken some of the largest transactions of this nature in the European market to date. He also has considerable experience of acting for banking groups and credit funds on structured trades, back-leverage and risk transfer programs. Mark is experienced at leading the design, strategy and implementation of large-scale strategic programs for financial institution transformation, balance sheet management or regulatory compliance purposes.
