Introduction
Mala assists clients with matters involving real estate and real estate finance in local and national markets.
Mala Clancey represents landowners, real estate developers and investors, renewable energy companies, data center developers, commercial lenders and borrowers, and landlords and tenants of retail and office space. She advises on all aspects of sales, acquisitions, and financing of vacant and improved property, including retail centers, office buildings, and condominium projects; vacant land and condominium development; and leasing on behalf of both landlords and tenants.
Mala also advises renewable energy companies on site control, including purchases, options, and ground leases, as well as due diligence for large-scale commercial solar and wind projects; technology companies in acquisitions of data center sites; and an electric vehicle (EV) charging company on the acquisition and leasing of EV charging station sites. She counsels clients on structuring, negotiating, and consummating complex real estate and loan transactions.
