Lee McDonald

Lee McDonald is Division Chair, Projects, Energy and Resources on the Global Leadership Team of Ashurst Perkins Coie.

In particular, Lee has considerable knowledge in all aspects of the rail industry, including in respect of infrastructure provision, franchising, rolling stock procurement and regulatory matters. His clients include public sector bodies, funders, rolling stock manufacturers, sponsors and contractors.

Lee has been involved in more than 100 rail projects in Europe, the US, the Middle East, Asia and Australia, successfully completing many public sector procurements.

Lee worked in our London office for many years, but since 2012 has been based in Sydney bringing extensive rail sector experience and knowledge of international precedents to the Australian infrastructure team.

Lee is qualified in England and Wales and New South Wales.
