Lara Rae Owen

Lara Owen focuses on patent and other IP litigation in district courts and U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) investigations, with experience in matters involving video streaming technologies and medical devices. 

Lara earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she was a member of the Women’s Law Caucus and co-president of the Christian Legal Society. Prior to law school, Lara earned a B.S. in computer science from the University of Minnesota. 

Lara was a summer associate in the firm’s San Diego office in 2024. She also gained legal experience as a summer associate with another firm and Intel in 2023.
