Introduction
Lael advises fund sponsors, investors, and family offices on the structuring, formation, governance, and management of their investments.
Lael Franco drafts and reviews a broad range of fund documentation, including limited partnership agreements, private placement memorandums, subscription agreements, and investor side letters. She counsels clients on all facets of their business and helps them navigate complex issues that can arise during the lifecycle of investment products and related transactions.
Prior to joining Ashurst Perkins Coie, Lael primarily assisted U.S. and international institutional investors with their alternative investments across various asset classes, such as private equity and venture capital, and has extensive experience negotiating on behalf of these clients.
Lael demonstrates a strong commitment to pro bono work as an active volunteer with the Schools Consent Project, a nonprofit that delivers educational workshops on consent to middle and high school students.
