Kien Thiet Nguyen

Kien-Thiet (KT) Nguyen represents both companies and investors in venture capital transactions and advises early-stage technology and life sciences startups on a range of corporate matters. He assists clients from formation to exit on governance, capitalization, financings, employment, and IP matters. 

Before law school, KT was a graduate researcher in the University of California, San Francisco’s biomedical sciences graduate program, where he studied neurodegenerative diseases and brain cancers. He also worked in the university’s technology transfer office, consulting with university inventors on the patentability and commercialization of their inventions.
