Kay Hall is a senior business development leader who helps Ashurst Perkins Coie strengthen strategic client relationships, sharpen market focus, and drive growth across practices, industries, and geographies. She brings a distinguished leadership background, combining law firm experience with senior roles in Fortune 100 organizations, where she has led strategic business development, client relationship management, and complex integration initiatives across a range of industries.  

Kay has played a significant role in advancing the firm’s client-focused growth agenda. She helped shape and execute Ashurst Perkins Coie’s strategic plan for client development, including the launch of key programs focused on industry alignment, strategic client relationships, client feedback, and client team planning. Her work has helped the firm bring greater discipline, consistency, and accountability to how teams identify opportunities, deepen relationships, and measure progress. 

Kay leads a high-performing, strategic client engagement team that supports many of the firm’s most important client relationships and growth initiatives. Under her leadership, the team has expanded its reach and influence across the firm, supporting client teams, partner growth priorities, and significant new matter opportunities. Her team works closely with client relationship leads to translate strategy into action and help teams deliver measurable business impact. 

Before joining Ashurst Perkins Coie, Kay held senior and executive-level business development roles with Fortune 100 companies in the financial services and healthcare sectors. Her background includes strategic planning, client management, and integration leadership for complex M&A transactions. She led products and business development across multiple channels including private and public companies, government and military health systems (Medicare, Medicaid, TriCare), Taft-Hartley (unions) programs, and healthcare organizations.  

Kay is known for building practical, client-centered programs that align people, priorities, and execution. She brings a global mindset, multicultural perspective, and collaborative leadership style to her work with lawyers and business professionals across the firm.
