Kathleen Stetsko regularly advises clients on multimillion-dollar personal injury cases, including toxic tort claims, aviation, and product liability matters. She has a strong understanding of medical causation issues and the scientific hurdles companies can face in litigation. She helps guide leading doctors and scientists to construct effective, persuasive reports, and she challenges opposing experts in subject areas like genetics, cancer biology, neurology, and neuropsychology. 

A skilled case manager, Kate manages large-scale litigation from start to finish, including leading discovery efforts and handling procedural disputes. Clients rely on her to thoroughly understand their businesses and tailor solutions to their strengths and weaknesses. Kate has stand-up experience in both trials and arbitrations, and she practices in both state and federal courts, including consolidated and multidistrict proceedings. She is knowledgeable of Illinois state law and civil procedure, which benefits her local clients and national clients that have a presence in Illinois. Additionally, Kate has drafted numerous successful federal and state appellate briefs. 

Kate is active in mentoring the next generation of lawyers at Ashurst Perkins Coie and serves on the Chicago office's Professional Development Committee.
