Introduction

Julissa is experienced in corporate secondments and working as an extension of in-house legal teams, focusing on corporate governance, product counsel support, regulatory compliance, and pre-litigation risk assessment.

Julissa Robles has built strong client relationships with leading technology and financial services clients through multiple secondments and embedded client service. In her most recent role, she provided product counsel support to a major technology client, partnering with cross-functional teams to conduct risk reviews for research initiatives and evaluate third-party generative AI tools. Her work in this space includes reviewing terms of service and privacy policies to ensure legal compliance and establish recommended internal use conditions. She also supports a prominent global payments standards-setting organization by reviewing public-facing materials and identifying potential antitrust and legal risks before publication.

Additionally, Julissa oversaw corporate governance for the Latin American subsidiaries of a multinational tech company, managing outside counsel and working with internal teams on entity formations in foreign jurisdictions, capital contributions, corporate restructuring, and annual legal compliance. Previously, Julissa supported a financial services and software as a service company by evaluating global pre-litigation demands involving card network rules, commercial fraud, compliance, and data privacy frameworks, and drafting strategic responses to mitigate risk. Her experience also includes handling complex third-party discovery by reviewing subpoenas and drafting objection letters, as well as managing global garnishment responses across U.S. and international jurisdictions. In addition, Julissa has successfully assisted a technology and security company in handling law enforcement requests while protecting customer privacy rights.

Julissa excels in data analysis, providing insights on complex issues and case themes. She has reviewed documents in cases involving contract disputes, fraud, intellectual property, and personal injury. She has experience as a litigation lawyer, representing clients on issues such as compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, insurance coverage and bad faith, product liability, and wage-and-hour claims. She has also represented corporate clients in matters arising on tribal lands.

Julissa is committed to pro bono service, regularly participating in the firm’s monthly DACA clinic, the ELAP Wills Clinic, and providing interpretation for Spanish-speaking clients in immigration proceedings.
