Jorge Vázquez

Jorge Vázquez is a managing partner of our Madrid office and a partner in our corporate practice. He focuses on M&A and private equity transactions, restructuring and insolvency as well as distressed investing. He also has a broad experience in general corporate and commercial matters and joint ventures.

He has advised national and international clients on the corporate aspects of large cross-border M&A and private equity transactions as well as group restructurings. Jorge has also been involved in distressed debt transactions, advising a number of international clients on the buy-side, with special attention to secured and unsecured non-performing loan portfolios (including consumer loans and bank debt) as well as tranches of LBO debt.

Jorge leads the private equity practice at Ashurst Perkins Coie Madrid. He has experience s in all types of corporate, private equity, NPLs and restructuring transactions.

Some of his key clients are Cerberus, Haya Real Estate, Alantra Private Equity, Apollo and KKR Credit.
