Introduction
As a former DOJ attorney, Jeremy represents clients in criminal and complex civil antitrust matters.
Jeremy C. Keeney is a seasoned antitrust lawyer with experience in antitrust litigation and counseling, merger reviews, and civil and criminal government investigations. His practice focuses on data use, information sharing, algorithmic collusion, and labor markets. Jeremy has worked on antitrust matters in many industries, including health insurance, mobile devices, aerospace, cannabis, high-tech, media, chemical, energy, natural gas, and oil.
Before rejoining Ashurst Perkins Coie, Jeremy was a trial attorney at the DOJ, Antitrust Division’s Civil Conduct Task Force and Anti-Monopoly and Collusion Enforcement and Healthcare and Consumer Products sections. While at the DOJ, he worked on civil and criminal matters, including serving in key roles on the investigation and litigation of Apple’s alleged monopolistic conduct and of UnitedHealth Group and Change Healthcare’s merger. Jeremy served on several litigation teams, where he deposed party and third-party witnesses, examined a witness at trial, and led groups of lawyers and paralegals.
Jeremy maintains an active pro bono practice. He successfully briefed and argued two prisoner civil rights cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Previously, he successfully represented two military veterans before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
