Introduction
Jeffrey is an associate in the Appeals, Issues & Strategy group at Ashurst Perkins Coie.
Jeffrey Capelouto advises clients facing complex litigation matters, with a focus on appeals and dispositive motions. Before joining the firm, he clerked for the Hon. Danielle J. Forrest on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Hon. John R. Tunheim on the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. Jeffrey earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he served as an articles editor of the Stanford Law Review. Additionally, he received Judge Thelton E. Henderson prizes for outstanding performance in the Supreme Court Litigation Clinic and Advanced Supreme Court Litigation Clinic.
